Clare Licher lives in Sedona with her husband Max and two daughters. She has studied medicinal herbs for 25 years and began distilling native essential oils in 2005 with Max. Since then they have distilled over 50 different species of plants (mostly native), and have traveled to Southern France and Germany to study various methods of distillation. She is also an artist with a BA in fine arts painting, and is currently working on illustrations for a book on essential oils.
