The Climate Mayor’s Network is on the Sedona City Council’s agenda for next Tuesday, August 23rd. It’s the only substantive item on the agenda. So if you’ve been thinking you’d like to attend a Council meeting but couldn’t deal with the prospect of sitting through several hours of discussion, here’s your chance.
The item is “AB 2843 Discussion/possible action/reconsideration regarding the Mayor’s participation in the Climate Mayors Network.” This item was already approved at the last Council meeting. However, several members of the public attended the meeting and asked to have it pulled from consent so they could speak against it at the next meeting.
The abovementioned and others will come to voice their objections this Tuesday, August 23rd, at the Sedona Council meeting. However, it would be unfortunate if those were the only views heard. (If you cannot attend, another option is to email the entire Council.)
