Keep Sedona Beautiful will resume our Preserving the Wonder Speaker Series on Wednesday, September 17 at 5:00 pm with a Native Plant Workshop program. This month’s speaker is Master Gardener Graelyn Deslauriers. Her topic will be “Attracting Backyard Birds with Fire-Wise Native Plants.”  

Graelyn will discuss ways to landscape with native plants that will bring beauty to your landscape while also providing fire protection to the home and landscape, and attracting birds.  Before the program, attendees are encouraged to walk through KSB’s newly completed fire-wise and community educational garden.  Come early, save a seat, and tour the garden!

Master Gardener Graelyn Delauriers has a background in health education and social work. She became a Master Gardener when she and her husband moved to the Verde Valley 2 years ago. She loves speaking to the public about ways to enrich their lives and has a passion for all things gardening-related.
