Now in our 53rd year, we realize how important our donors are to KSB's continued existence. Our board of trustees and officers are all volunteers. We don't have a paid executive director or accountant which means your dollars help cover minimal administrative and operating expenses as well as our many programs and projects.
The KSB EcoHub, a center where timely and relevant topics are presented educating and inspiring our members and the community, offering space for use by the Sedona community, needed critical attention. Rotted wood and peeling paint were professionally replaced using high quality super paint to last for many years. We also had a Firewise audit and are in the process of closing the Firewise gap around the property. Our beautiful, new interpretive garden continues to wow everyone who visits. School children will soon be showing up to gather information about plants and rocks via a KSB EcoHub scavenger hunt workbook. And, for the first time in 53 years, we are reaching out to Sedona's visitors with our new website PreservingtheWonder.org, sending a positive message about responsible tourism.
