Carl Olson is the UA Entomology Associate Curator of the insect research collection the last 36 years. He has authored two books on SW insects, coauthored many extension bulletins, and is active in bringing real insect information as opposed to myths and untruths to the public communities, in hopes of showing the value of the insect world in our ecosystems. He serves on the Boards of the Sonoran Arthropod Studies Inc., the Southern Arizona Women’s Chorus, and sings with the Tucson Masterworks Chorale and the UA Faculty-Staff Choir.
