Workshop 4: Saving Water Beautifully: Use Native Plants in the Landscape
Steve will identify many ideal low water use landscape options and how to incorporate them into your site.
Steve Miller has studied native plants in California & Arizona for the past 20 years with the Native Plant Society. He is the owner of The Native Garden in Prescott, AZ., a retail nursery specializing in native plants. He has established an experimental station at The Native Garden for four-season growing of heirloom vegetables and an horticultural demonstration site for low water use plants and plants that are not so attractive to the animals in our area. He conducts site evaluations for appropriate plantings and identification of existing native plants.
