Workshop 6: Tackling Backyard Weeds and Beyond
Backyard weeds can be a nuisance or downright destructive! Anna will identify these backyard weeds and describe different methods for controlling the invasion in your backyard and beyond your fence.
Anna Schrenk is the Program Manager for Friends of Verde River Greenway. She has over fifteen years of combined experience working on vegetation management for the National Park Service and US Forest Service and implementing post-fire rehabilitation projects in the Southwest for several Department of Interior agencies. She has a degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Plant Ecology from Prescott College. In her free time she enjoys sailing, hiking, gardening and botanizing!
