Dark Skies – Starry Nights

KSB is excited to partner with Red Rock State Park and Astronomers of Verde Valley (AVV) for a fun night of night sky viewing on May 30 at the Red Rock State Park.

J.D. Maddy, President of AVV, will give a presentation at 7:30 p.m. of astronomical events including many clusters, nebulas, galaxies, and planets. Following the presentation there will be telescope viewing from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. A craft project will be available for children during the presentation as well as snacks and warm drinks.

Reservations are required for this program. Cost is $5 reservation fee per person prior to the event, plus the park’s admission fees of $5 per adult (14 and up), $3.00 per youth (7-13) and free for children (0-6).
