Since our founding in 1972, Keep Sedona Beautiful has shared the Earth Day message that we all must be stewards of our fragile planet.
KSB has focused recently on the issue of plastic pollution, particularly microplastics. Since the first Earth Day, over 17 trillion pounds of plastic have been produced, over a ton for each person alive today.
Fortunately, governments, companies and individuals around the globe are beginning to take action, as we pointed out in our Good News article on page 3 of the Spring 2024 issue of our Quarterly Magazine.
KSB asks you to celebrate Earth Day this year by committing to reducing your use of plastic, purchasing reusable (not disposable) items and recycling everything you can.
It’s up to each of us to protect the one world we live on.
