KSB urges all residents of Sedona to be prepared to respond in case of an emergency, particularly should a wildland fire threaten our area.
The City of Sedona is hosting a free workshop on emergency preparedness on November 6, 2024, at the Sedona Public Library. The workshop will have two sessions, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, and 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Both sessions will cover the same content. The workshop will discuss important information on Ready Sedona: A Resident’s Guide to Emergency Preparedness. This includes knowing your zones, signing up for alert systems, Emergency Preparedness Kit, Animal Preparedness, Family Emergency Plan, Wildland Fire Preparedness and Home Fire Prevention and Safety. Light refreshments will be served. No registration is required.
