TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE

Free event, children friendly, January 31, 2018, Wednesday Morning, Total Eclipse starts at 5:51 a.m.

The Sirius Lookers Astro Club, Sedona Public Library, and Keep Sedona Beautiful Dark-Sky Committee are hosting the Total Lunar Eclipse, Wednesday, January 31, 2018, starting at 5:00 a.m. for Partial Eclipse; Total Eclipse starts at 5:51a.m. and goes until about 6:40 a.m. (before setting on horizon).

Location: Cultural Park Pl. at Upper Red Rock Loop Road opposite Red Rock High School.

Enhanced viewing of Eclipse with Astro Binoculars and Scopes will be available for viewing.

Celestial event will be highlighted by being next to bright BeeHive star Cluster. Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter will be in the opposite part of the sky during the event.
